The 8th ISSLD (International Symposium of Sustainable Landscape Development) aims to conduct a transdisciplinary study on regenerative landscapes through case studies related to efforts in achieving sustainable landscape management, as well as landscape restoration and rehabilitation, in order to create healthier, more productive landscapes that can support long-term life, enhance ecosystem services, promote biodiversity, and strengthen community resilience. The symposium highlights various perspectives, including ecology and sustainability, technology and innovation, socio-cultural and economic aspects, as well as design and planning, to foster holistic and inclusive approaches in regenerating landscapes.
